Question 1

What is Groups.Tours?

Accepted Answer

A platform for running group trips end to end: itinerary and map stops, tasks and lists, payments and expense splitting, polls, a photo album, documents and group chat — all in one place, for the whole group.

Question 2

How much does it cost?

Accepted Answer

Using the site is free. You can open groups and trips, invite friends and use all the travel tools at no charge. Advertising info is on the Advertise page.

Question 3

How do I create a trip?

Accepted Answer

Two ways: manually via 'New Trip' on the trips page, or the AI Trip Architect on the tools page — a short chat and it builds a ready trip with itinerary, tasks and a packing list. There's also the Inspiration page with one-click templates.

Question 4

How do I invite friends to a trip?

Accepted Answer

Every trip has an invite code and a share link. Send the link on WhatsApp and friends join with one tap. Groups also support email invites — they get notified by email and in the app.

Question 5

How do payments work?

Accepted Answer

Each member can be assigned payments with an amount and due date, and the system sends automatic reminders. Payments are currently in demo mode — no real charges are made. The Expense Splitter tool calculates who owes whom with minimal transfers.

Question 6

What's the difference between a group and a trip?

Accepted Answer

A group is your community — the people you travel with. A trip is a specific event with dates and an itinerary. You can create multiple trips under one group, or a personal trip in your private group.

Question 7

What do the travel tools include?

Accepted Answer

16 tools: world clock, real-rate currency converter, weather forecast, maps and navigation, a speaking translator, flight and hotel search, visa checker, emergency numbers, smart packing list, expense splitter and more — in 6 languages.

Question 8

Does the site work in English and other languages?

Accepted Answer

Yes — the interface is available in Hebrew, English, Spanish, French, German and Arabic, with full RTL/LTR support. Switch languages using the language button in the top bar.

Question 9

Can I install the site as an app?

Accepted Answer

Yes — the site is a full PWA. Android shows an install prompt automatically; on iPhone: Share → 'Add to Home Screen'. You get an icon, full-screen launch and push notifications.

Question 10

Who can see my trip details?

Accepted Answer

Only trip members see the itinerary, payments and chat. A share link shows a read-only copy without personal details, and can be revoked at any time. Your personal data is handled per the privacy policy.
